Program of 3 day desert tour from Marrakech to Fes

Itinerary:

Day 1: Marrakech – Dades gorges

After breakfast, our driver will take you up from your lodging in Marrakech early in the morning, and your journey to Fes will begin.
Drive through the high Atlas highlands and Tizi N Tichka from here to the Dades Valley, taking in the breathtaking scenery along the route, and stop at the Kasbah Telouate before reaching Ait Ben Haddou.
When you get to the village of Ait ben Haddou, we’ll engage a local guide to show you around and explain the history of the region as well as the customs and culture of the locals.
A Time lunch in a local kasbah while taking in the magnificent view of tens of thousands of palm trees.
Continue to Dades Valley, where you will spend your first night at a small kasbah, after lunch.

Day 2: Dades gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga desert

Continue to the Erg Chebbi Sahara desert after an early breakfast. Pass through Dades Gorges in Merzouga. Enjoy the sights of a thousand kasbahs and dispersed Berber villagers as you go. Then, the team and camel will be ready for you when you get to Merzouga and will take you to the deep Merzouga desert where you may ride a camel and watch the sunset from the top of the Erg Chegaga Dunes.
Once you get to your camp in Merzouga, our team will give you a warm welcome and you may enjoy a wonderful night under the stars while listening to the Berber musician play by the campfire.

Day 3: Merzouga desert – Iferane – Fes

The time has come to leave the desert behind. After an early breakfast, take in the sunrise view and get ready to return via the camels to the Merzouga hotel, where the driver will be waiting to drive you to Fes via the Ziz Valley, Midelt, and Ifrane City, also known as the little Switzerland of Morocco. You will also have a short window of time in Azrou to take pictures of the famous Middle Atlas cedar forest with its Barbary apes.
Your Marrakech to Fes desert excursion will end with a drop-off at your hotel or riad in Fes upon your arrival there in the late afternoon.
